When first starting off growing your beard give it at least 2 months without doing anything to it, I know that's a long time but trust me its worth it. You want to give your beard time to see where it can go. Let it fill in before you start to line it up.
Very important to moisturize so your beard won't become dry or itch. It also keeps beardruff (dandruff) away. Your beard will look more healthy. So apply beard oil and balm or a combination of both which I recommend. We have great ones for you to choose here!
Okay now your 2 months is up and your beard is showing some life, now its time to bring it out. Find a great barber to shape and trim it up. If your looking to go big with your beard you should trim it every 2 months to get rid of any split ends you may have so that the follicles can continue to grow.
I prefer you shampoo your beard once a week depending on how active your are. Every other day is also good.
Last but not least find yourself a great comb. Stand clear of plastic for they tend to give your beard that static look and pulls more hairs out. I recommend you get yourself a wide tooth wood comb they glide through the beard while smoothing down the hairs. If keeping your beard brush length 100% boar is great.
I hope these tips help you along your beard journey, stay bearded N Driven!
